Who Is Responsible

What We Collect
- What you send us: your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you tell us about the tattoo, piercing or treatment you are after, including reference images.
- Booking details: dates, the artist you saw, deposits and payments.
- Consent form details, in the studio: your ID, date of birth, and health information that matters for the procedure, such as allergies, skin conditions, medication or pregnancy.
- Photos of finished work, if you are happy for us to take them.
- Technical basics: like every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested).
How This Website Handles It
The forms on this site don't store anything. They put your answers into a WhatsApp message, or an email, that you send yourself from your own app. From there it is an ordinary conversation with the studio.

Why We Use It
- To reply to your enquiry and manage your booking.
- To carry out your tattoo, piercing or treatment safely.
- To follow up on healing and aftercare.
- To keep the records the law and health regulations expect of a studio.
- To send you studio updates, if you asked for them.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for anything you wouldn't expect.
Health Information
Health details are special personal information under POPIA. We ask only for what is relevant to doing the work safely, we collect it with your consent, and only the people involved in your appointment see it.
Photos Of Your Work
We love sharing finished work. We will only post a photo of your tattoo or piercing if you are happy with that, and we will take it down if you change your mind. Just tell your artist.
Studio Updates
We only send news, flash drops and specials to people who asked for them or who are already clients. Every message tells you how to opt out. Say stop and we stop.
How Long We Keep It, And How
We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the reason we collected it, or for as long as the law requires us to keep records. After that it is deleted or securely destroyed.
Records are kept where only studio staff can get to them, on paper and on password-protected devices and accounts. No system is perfect: if something ever goes wrong with your information, we will tell you and the Information Regulator, as the law requires.
Your Rights
Under POPIA you can:
- ask what personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct it;
- ask us to delete it, where we have no lawful reason to keep it;
- object to how we use it, or withdraw a consent you gave;
- complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
To use any of these, message or email us. We will ask for enough to be sure it is really you.
Under 18s
We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 without a parent or legal guardian being involved.
Changes To This Policy
If what we collect or how we use it changes, this page changes first. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
